For the first time I'm not so hyped to get the newest from Google, at least not right off the bat. The Pixel 2 is still serving me well, and I can't imagine the camera being even better. I mean, it almost definitely will be, but the current Pixel 2's camera is already mindblowingly good that there isn't much making me trigger-happy for the Pixel 3.

But of course, when launch date rolls along, all of the above might just be forgotten and if that happens, f*ck the notch and give me a regular Pixel 3 in black anytime!

Coming from the OnePlus6, realized that the notch is actually non issue as you can black off the status bar and still have YouTube at full screen with no notch interference.

Android P is now going towards expanding the vertical viewing estate on the screen, taking away the bottom nav bars, replacing with gestures, and the top status bar cum notch area containing your time + wifi + battery status info. So on a whole a good thing for eg. your chrome browser will have more readable horizontal lines.

Same here. Maybe the best is the best. I wonder how good a camera can be now.
