DisplayMate didn't seem to have tested the Pixel 3 but based on the reviews thus far, there doesn't seem to be much flak la.. haha

yeah, from hands on at demo units, it still looks a bit better than my Pixel 2 with samsung panel. So i don't really mind as long as it's reliable in terms of wear and tear. haha. Just a little funny that last year it's the other way round. 2XL with LG panel, 2 with samsung panel. haha.

Pixel 2 non XL was never available in Singapore, only XL.

I read somewhere it is available on US for now. Other countries depends... so might or might not launch in SG

LG Panel is getting better and better. The SONY XZ3 is using the LG panel and is one of the best display on the market right now.

probably due to speech recognition. then again we will most likely only get "您好，这里是新加坡警察总部" (Hello, this is Singapore Police Force HQ). that we don't need callscreen we just hang up

Even some of amdk said pixel 3 not worth it. The price increased only because of few tiny upgrade from pixel 2.

on the bright side, with the amount of positive opinions surrounding the smaller Pixel 3 too, that means LG really improved a lot.

No wonder the XL won the DisplayMate accolade and the regular Pixel 3 did not. Shitty decision by Google imo.
