I think the perception that only phones from Telco has warranty as compared to phones that are sold by third party retailers are still lingering in many.

No problems. If you see the 2XL thread, some people sent their phone in for repair before and they bought from retailer. You're actually more screwed if you cannot produce a receipt.

The weird thing is I thought pink will be in higher demand. But seeing the pink 3XL models getting delivered to some of the kakis here and still no sight of white really makes me scratch my head my balls my everything.

Google "disable async dns" and follow the instructions. I think it was due to a Chrome update. Dns66 also stopped working for me, so I switched to Blokada now and it's working. Using a Pixel 2 on the latest 9.0 Nov patch.

For cases, I would recommend the usual suspects. SPIGEN, Ringke, Nillkin, etc.

For screens? Sorry man, nothing in the market I've seen so far matches the quality I am looking for. So far the ones in the market right now are plain garbage, don't adhere to the screen properly. If I see a good one I'll recommend it straight away here. For now just buy a cheap one and pray it doesn't come off.

I bought skinomi screen protector and spigen rugged armor off Amazon. It's been sitting at home for a week waiting for the phone. I'll do a quick review if the phone arrives today.

I've placed an order on 10th Oct. Situation same like some of the guys here decribed. Early adopters lose out.

At first status stating delay.

Then on Monday suddenly changed to shipped with DHL tracking number.

Been checking since and DHL still showing phone not shipped. SMLJ!

Just spoken to Google CSO 2 mins ago and after putting me on hold for 5 mins, CSO said just wait until end of today. Sales Specialist said this might be a case of DHL not updating their website as on Google's side, they are seeing the order has been processed and it is currently with DHL.

So I think for now, just wait and cross fingers.

I need the phone as my 2 yo Original Pixel has about 15 mins battery life from full charge.

Is the skinomi one a tempered glass? If it is, just be prepared that it's going to be lousy.
