in this kind of scenario nobody thinks it's their fault, especially not mine. google insist that they only pocket my S$1249, while bank is the one who pocket my S$34.97 as a result of google handling the transaction out of SG.

maybe it's really my fault for buying from google. if bank dont waive, i llst just gonna take it as a lesson learnt

Did anyone use an Amex issued card? I notice transaction costs when I use local visa/master cards but Amex Platinum etc. have no transaction costs.

Google "disable async dns" and follow the instructions. I think it was due to a Chrome update. Dns66 also stopped working for me, so I switched to Blokada now and it's working. Using a Pixel 2 on the latest 9.0 Nov patch.

Nope, not because of currency. But because Google is not carrying out the transactions in Singapore but overseas which results in the extra charges. More information in the previous posts as mentioned by others.

Just received an SMS from DHL saying my phone will be delivered today. Fulfilled by Expansys.

DHL tracking website also updated, albeit missing the journey details from HK to SG.

mine was shipped yesterday 12.03

Only VISA/Mastercard charge this fee, AMEX looks like they don't.

Yes that's what I was thinking because I don't get them when I pay via Amex. I bought a lot of apps previously with my DBS Mastercard and the statement was filled with cents transactions line by line.

So the viable loophole (in a way) for now is to use Amex. Need to sweep away the dust on my true cashback card

yes. apparently it's 2.8% of the purchase price each time. but if small amount most ppl dont bother to dispute

Google sent it on 5th November stating that it was shipped.

DHL sent a SMS saying it is on its way.

I just called DHL and they said that it might be released from the warehouse by afternoon earliest.

I was worried they may have additional unfulfilled deliveries due to the holiday yest, so I called DHL to check. They'll be doing the delivery by 10pm latest today. So it should be the same for you guys.

That was what I heard, they told me that to check around 3pm to see if it had left the warehouse. Apparently there should be a confirmation sms/notification if its out for delivery when I asked them.

I'm using the slim armor crystal and the cheapo tgsp don't adhere to the screen properly (especially when the case presses against the edge of the tgsp). Suggest jiam si dong to protect the screen while waiting for whitestone dome to release pixel 3 xl dome glass.
