Mine's probably an isolated situation and I think a reset would have solved most of the problems I had, but by the time it started to really become a problem the current generation Pixel wasn't too far away so I didn't bother.
Key presses would take a long time to register and it got to a point where I couldn't type at times because the phone would stutter and then just blurt out everything I pressed before and the haptics would go crazy. I thought it was an issue with SwiftKey at first but with Gboard it was an issue as well. The home screen would have this weird issue whereby I would try to access an app like Chrome, but nothing would happen; you could see the icon "bounce" slightly as it registered your touch but the app wouldn't launch and I would have to reboot the phone - I think this was most prevalent with the Camera app. Also had issues with the home and back buttons taking longer than usual to work. Bluetooth audio playback would stutter (even for downloaded, not streamed files).
That said, I loved the 2XL and have no regrets getting it.
