I just chatted with Google Store Support. The specialist, Albert, said he will escalate this and get back to me via email once he has news.

No status update from DHL does not seem normal. My Pixel Stand was also sent from HK by DHL and the updates streamed in as the package moved along.

We'll see what happens.

Recommendations for screen protectors which are compatible with spigen cases ...even temp ones or TPU film until a permanent one comes along...not sure if the earlier post with screen protector sharings considered for spigen cases thus just double checking...

Also, I was charged the exact amount on my CC by Google, no hidden charges.

For a start if just out of box i think its pretty normal. There might be services updating in the background since brand new.

Yeah i noted most wet applied film has great reviews on the specs but when it comes to consumer reviews...omg...complaining messy, get bubbles, water or some cloud smudge...etc Really split up over to get or try something else...

Anyone here tried a wet application film on the 1st try and succeeded?

"According to DHL’s tracking website, only the shipment’s information has been received.

Once Shipper has arranged for a pick-up and shipment has been handed to DHL, a pick-up status will be reflected in the tracking system.

Hence, you may either reconfirm with the shipper on DHL’s actual pick-up date for the shipment or alternatively, continue to monitor the shipment’s pick-up status / progress via our DHL Tracking Website."

In other words, Google has NOT handed the item to DHL so DHL has nothing to update. This makes a lot of sense.

The issue is with Google.

Now let's see what the Google specialist say about this in his follow up.

yes tried a couple of those self healing wet applied and nightmare started after 1 or 2 weeks.. but hard to describe on this.. is more like the classic PET film material not those self healing elastic ones.

I think the problem is with Google's shipping and logistics team.

On one hand someone from that team finishes prepping the item to be shipped, and marks it in system as "shipped". Likely DHL is notified by this person/team as well.

On the other hand, the person/team who's responsible for handing the item to their shipping vendors (in this case DHL) has not done his/her job by actually physically handing items over.

I'm pretty sure I won't get it today though Google's order page says today is the last day I'll get it.

Shame on Google.

just got a temporary tempered glass on till whitestone is out . $8 dollars from Bishan , shop is directly opposite challenger at the highest level . not that bad, good enough till whitestone come out. Using it with my spigen rugged armour
