I think the problem is with Google's shipping and logistics team.

On one hand someone from that team finishes prepping the item to be shipped, and marks it in system as "shipped". Likely DHL is notified by this person/team as well.

On the other hand, the person/team who's responsible for handing the item to their shipping vendors (in this case DHL) has not done his/her job by actually physically handing items over.

I'm pretty sure I won't get it today though Google's order page says today is the last day I'll get it.

Shame on Google.

My theory based on what I've observed is the logistics here (i.e. SEA) are handled by Expansys. When you see the notification that your order has shipped on your Google store page, its Expansys notifying Google that they are shipping the item. Following that Expansys maybe working with DHL so that the former is only involved in the last leg of the delivery (from local distribution centre to consumer). Hence DHL has no updates between HK to Singapore.

Anyone changed to Pixel 3 from iPhones? How’s getting used it? Most of the bros here hooted small p3 or the 3xl?

Switched from iPhone 7+ to the smaller pixel.

Things that I missed immediately are

1. Haptics
2. Apple pay (I just tried Citi pay and it failed. :s13:)
3. Password auto-fill through lastpass integration (iOS 12 implementation is better)
4. Document scanning application (cannot find the equivalent of ScannerPro on Android)

Pixel's display also looks over punchy with very high contrast. Still getting used to it.

If you didn't receive an SMS by noon, unlikely for your phone to reach you by today. Looks like you may need to chat with them again.

2. Use Android Pay. It works flawlessly. Unlock your phone, tap and you're done.

3. For this, you have to download third party password managers. Google doesnt provide for it on an OS level, though Chrome does have something similar for website login.

4. Haven't used ScannerPro before, but have you tried Google Drive or Microsoft's Office Lens? They work pretty well.

As for the colour, you can change the colour mode from Settings --> Display --> Colours

1. Android Pay = Google pay? No Citibank support. I have preference for Citibank cards. :) Citi pay is a failed app.

2. Actually lastpass has the functionality (called auto-fill through overlay) and it used to be good before iOS 12 implement it. If you used both you will know why the latter is better.

3. I tried quite a few Apps, they work but do not approach the quality of ScannerPro. ScannerPro also comes with auto-upload to cloud functionality. To get this on CamScanner (Android), you need to to pay a $6 monthly subscription.

4. As for colors, I cycled through all the settings. It stills looks overly punchy. I used iPhone for work and Pixel for personal, so the difference is apparent when I switch between the 2.

3. Chrome can autofill for apps now , its part of Pie update
4. Use Camscanner pro
