Google is telling everyone to switch to dark mode to conserve battery.

1. Enable dark mode
2. Enable dark themes
3. Switch to night mode in your google maps.

Should be able to squeeze more battery out of your battery life.

I stopped using it after a day. I realised the "pulsing" is not very obvious from far (unlike a LED) and I probably won't be looking at the screen that often to catch the screen "pulse".

You referring to night light (which changes the colour tone) or grayscale? I actually prefer to use grayscale at night. It makes reading much easier and also reminds me that I shouldn't be looking at my phone.

Night Light (not Grayscale), though I think Grayscale should also help to save battery life.

I have not actually tried using Grayscale though. Will try it out some day.

Very sad, felt cheated. Booked a Pixel 3 yesterday from the CIS 1111 promotion with Singtel. I can see the Pixel stand free gift in my cart all the way even at the final payment page. But after i paid and received the contract, it was not indicated at all in my contract.

Have a call with them today and was told out of stock. But my friend got it at a timing later than me got it and at around midnight i checked again and the free gift still available.

But Singtel told me its a timing issue in terms of how the free gifts are distributed and I interpreted it as I am just suay even though i saw the free gift at my final payment page...

In the end they only waive 6 months of caller ID in my another number

Bruh... you know there are some of us who pre-ordered early but still didn't get the Pixel stand right? I have a few friends like that. I personally ordered on the 10th of Oct. According to their pre-order promotion back then, as long as we were within the first 1000, and pre-ordered, we will get the stand.

BUT WE DIDN'T. Whereas there are folks who pre-ordered like 2 weeks after me, and got the Pixel Stand. We've been enquiring with Singtel even before we got the phones, and they basically don't give a sh!t. Just give those standard template replies, like "If you are eligible, you'll get the Pixel Stand", instead of answering the real question of WHY we didn't get the Pixel Stand even though we were clearly within the first 1000 who pre-ordered. I think we were supposed to get an SMS with a link to sign up for the free Pixel Stand or what, but non of my friends who pre-ordered early got it.

So take the 6 months of callerID as a win ba. Haha. Cause we didn't get jack sh!t. Or maybe the system cock up and you'll still receive the stand when you collect the phone?

getting my Pink Pixel 3 128GB (not XL fk that notch)... but it's USA set. hoping no problems... I'm unlucky one buy iPhone Xs Max 3 times all tio scratches/dings on the stainless steel frame. hope all gods watch over my purchase this time
