I tried on streaming websites and I got the same as well. Initially I thought it's just the YouTube app. Maybe you wanna try other web browsers to see if the issue persist?

You need to hide the navigation bar to do that. There are various ways to do it via immersive mode.

You can enable it on demand via tiles, using this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zacharee1.systemuituner

You can enable per app using Tasker or any other apps on Play Store (search for immersive mode).

Apps like Nachos Notch can also help by removing the navigation bar (by changing your gesture control).

Choose what you prefer.

Has anyone encountered phone not charging while plugged into power outlet?

This happened to me last night. Phone screen was awake, plugged in cable, turned on main power but phone didn't start charging. I had to turn off main power, plug out, put phone to sleep, plugged in, turn on main power and it started charging fine.

Should I be worried?

It is actually how each app is designed to trigger immersive mode. Chrome is not triggering it the right way (up to Chrome Canary) which is why this bug exist (for all we know, it is by design). Thus my "remedy" is to overwrite the immersive mode logic using the suggested apps.

Another example, if you trigger full screen via Firefox Focus, the navigation bar hides fine.

Edit: Best way to push Google to change this behavior is for everyone to send a feedback via Chrome

The link lists a few options and I chose the more expensive one piece option for 3 XL. I think the difference is that it has full glue?

Good thing I have a black phone as the cover came with black borders. They prob have a white border version? Talk about blind buy lol

Anyway very happy with purchase. Highly recommended.

This one quality is good just that their cutting at the side eats a tad bit into the screen.
