Old technology with A10 Fusion chip, who will get excited? Even the new iPad Air 3 and iPad mini 5 released early this year no one get excited also

Den our existing pro is damn fast lol.

The batt life though is prob what pulls others to get the new version.

I have a spare 2017 ipad, it can handle surfing/email/netflix just fine.

ipad air isnt worth the money imo. neither here nor there, unless you want the A12 chip but even then, the difference is minimal.

how much space will ipados13 take? because in the event i want to watch netflix offline(onboard a flight) then storage capacity becomes an issue.
probably after ur advice, i will have to decide between a ipad 32gb or 128gb...which is stupid that they dont offer a 64gb (probably not to cannibalise ipad air sales)

Ipad OS can now transfer files from an usb-stick. So storage space of Ipads as less of an issue than before. Especially if you are considering it for storage of videos

err... i have yet to try storing netflix on usb storage so i cant comment on that.

i did buy a usb c thumb drive for my ipad pro to load videos using VLC though.

if you get the normal ipad or ipad air, make sure you get the lightning thumb drive.

From your usage, the 2019 iPad is good enough for you unless you are very anal about watching Netflix on a better screen. If that’s the case, for the the Air or Mini since they come with laminated display.
