happen to chance upon this place when visit a client in the vicinity:

WTF?!? why is this building still exist??!!

the staircase to second level has been removed...

and so is the entire upper level corridor...

.. to where my bunk at left wing was

fug... they shld demolished this building, together with others in the same camp. but no, they even affixed a signboard on it

it's Slim Barrack, just after 5SIR moved to Bukit Panjang Camp before current Kranji Camp

Ayer Rajah Camp was at the other end of Portsdown Road

one north gateway is built with the original 2-storey camp building as its front facade

the opposite one north residence used to be where cookhouse (defunct during my time there, fresh rations were ferried from Ayer Rajah Camp everyday), soccer field, & a 2-3 building tiakong used to be one of the offices of the lion head agency

according to a duty medic, there's one happening (demolished) block which was near to present day NTU guildhouse building. no duty personnel (medic, driver, etc) dare to bunk in overnight there
