You should know IT moves fast... 1 year out of workforce might be deem obsolete.

I got a friend who quit (not IT) and went got some studies and career break. But end up few years still unemployed. Maybe resume not so good or he abit low self esteem, don't dare apply for roles which he can only fit less than 50% of experience.

then recently got one claiming to be from one of the local banks, spinning a fraudulent transaction story, sounded female and Filipino... right choice of gender + nationality since many bank call centre staff are Pinays, but her story stumbled once I said I don't have an account with that bank
