your preparation method different ba.

the method i was taught by my late grandma was to have the ginger and all inside the rice cooker to cook from that start... as well as half cooked chicken meat.... so when the rice is fully cooked, the chicken would also be fully cooked

Huh... i put everything in then cook also what. What I meant is can always make sure the water level ok already then put in the other raw ingredients (before putting everything into the pot and start the cooker?)

ok. because some pple they cook the 油饭 separately from the chicken.... (ie rice is with the rice cooker, chicken is cooked elsewhere, machiam like those chicken rice stall in coffeeshops and hawker)

But then you won't have any chicken soup.

never? i am a headphone person....
so i have zilch idea, hence i came here asking for advices.

No issues for us leh without doing these you said

supor. apparently was told cuckoo was better .... but i hardly eat rice much these days
1/3 or less is long grain remaining is buckwheat and quinoa

usually with smart rice cooker, not looking at markers calrose rice is 1:1 water
jasmine is 1:1-1/4
long grain 1:1-1/2

buffalo items is notbad, i own their 2-in-1 stirfry airfryer. used to use it to cook fried rice and other stirfry. downside they all taste the same

Elephant brand can consider. Is good too.

Oh. Like this you got to trial and error liao.

Previously I was using Song xm4, served me well before it's battery died.
