Resolution is so so compare to dslr and point and shoot nowadays. But I am trying to compare their stitch quality and maybe pic quality between these affordable 360 cam

ah...i will be able to get my hand on this cam next week ..i shall let you know..

the review on youtube now...mostly the resolution of the video has been scale down....not sure is it because of youtube issue...

The video resolution looks good on mobile phones screen but looks average on large displays. The 1440s is for the entire 360 view so don't be mistakened for just the usual field of view.

When viewing it in equirectangular projection mode looks OK though.

I observed some ghosting at stitching zone/line (don't know what you call the area where the images are merged). Hopefully it get rectified in the near future.

when will Singapore starts selling Samsung Gear 360 ? Anyone has any idea how much will it be ?

finally receive my 360 cam...built and quality look good but why have the shutter sound one :(

and anyone know how to do fw update? i downloaded LG bridge but seem like my pc cant detect it..

My Mac can't detect it too. I am crossing my fingers and hope that it is because there are no new firmwares for it.

My set is from Korea.

I got mine too. Read that pc/mac has no support. You can only download to your phone ...

Btw, which sd card you guys using ? The cam like cannot read my card at all.

sandisk 200gb...seem fine for me :)

Using SanDisk 64GB Sd Card. Seems to be more than sufficient for me.

There are API to download images to PC/ Mac. I managed to instruct the LG 360 Cam to take a picture via my Mac. Building a LG 360 Cam Wireless remote

OK I bought a new sd card, working now.

Anyone know how to share the pic on watsapp or fb ? I tried the video on fb it works, but not image.

Try uploading to Google Photos or Flickr and share it as a link on your Facebook. Direct sharing to Facebook results in the equirectangular format.
