actually for rifle, you don't really need to 3d print, if one bother to google the internet, one'd probably find the instructions. but it is illegal to build that
one'd even find the instructions to build a nuclear bomb if one is hard core enough

3d printing is part of the 'digital economy', it is evolving but still embryonic
the notion is 'hardware become software', just make a 3d cad model that's printable, run it through the slicer and print and you get the thing based on the 3d model
new tech would likely evolve along those lines and it may not even be simply 3d printing
it has been evolving all along the cad / cam evolution and 3d printing is part of that. i.e. define the model and the computer and AI 'makes' it

maybe the far future could be 'mind over matters', you think about the model the machine makes it 'imagination become real'

there is an adjacent technology to 3d printing that is very mature that is widely used. that is laser cutting

you can literally
1) define and generate your own keyboard template
http://www.keyboard-layout-editor.com
2) generate the laser cut template
http://builder.swillkb.com/
3) laser cut that template e.g. on acrylic (there are many shops locally in sg who could do that for you)
and make your own keyboard
https://deskthority.net/workshop-f7/brownfox-step-by-step-t6050.html

laser cutting especially acrylic extends to far more uses than simply cutting keyboard templates

laser cuts is not safe to do in a home environment, normally one should use a laser cutting service.
a best material for laser cutting happens to be acrylic sheets

there are many laser cutting services in singapore, many from signcraft makers and acrylic sheets suppliers, a google search turns up some of them, in no particular order, and these are not all

don't mess with cheap laser cut equipment, some of them have near zero consideration for safety, e.g. laser cut in open unenclosed / unprotected environment and it is probably illegal to operate one in a home environment, use a well established service provider doing the laser cuts

Anybody here using 3D printer (resin)?

Feel like getting one to play..any feedbacks?

Understand that the learning curve is pretty steep, can I just get those 3D diagram (that is drawn for 3D printing) from the web n use it to print? ie. Plug n play.

Looked around few laser cutting shop but needs some sort of idea input as my art sense is beyond your imagination lol.
Ended up with this company called Cuttuto or something, they are more like a design & make studio but offers laser cutting and engraving services, like their attention and wallet friendly also.
