It's really a small amount considering the limit for bonus interest for accounts such as OCBC360 n UOB ONE is 70k to 75k. With only 40k u can't even get the max benefit/interest rate.

40k is really a small amount. Can't do much with 40k nowadays especially for any significant interest in FD, high yield savings etc.
