2x 8GB ram @3000mhz
27 monitor @QHD/75mhz

Planning to change cpu&mobo + gpu only:

Ryzen 5 2600+A3200mobo ~ $270
1650 super @ $230

Or ditch the GPU upgrade and go for Ryzen 5 3600 as WoW is more CPU intensive?

if u are on a budget u can consider 2nd hand. there are 1070s going for like 200$.
u should be able to get some cheap cpus when zen3 launchs in 2 weeks

You downgrade back to 1080p is the cheapest and most efficient.

That's a paper launch in 2 weeks. The TS will have to wait closer to the end of the year for Zen 2 to drop

For gaming, 4core with 4.3 ghz is actually enough. They stress more at gfx card , using a 3600 6core 12 thread is costly n overkill

ummm. this is WoW I'm talking about here. unless things have changed else it's always more on CPU for this game.

old intel cpus are garbage value. u might as well get a r5 3500 brand new for cheaper.

500 can consider a 2nd hand x370 +3300x combo which will land u around $250....

GPU really need to wait for 3060 performance launch le then 2nd mid range will sure drop also. really is 2 months wait. sure huat big big

also if u look hard enough. u can find r5 3500 + mobo for 300. add in a 2nd hand 1070 at 200$, u got a steal of a 6 core gaming machine.

2600 actually is good choice, plus a used $100 gtx970 . Should be within 500

I m using 3600 I didn't find it any big diff vs my old 4690

me using g4560 as well...if we just change to 6th or 7th gen intel we can use back our existing mobo.
