660ti vs 1440p reso?

games i play is ROS mainly atm.

do u think my GPU can support 1440p gaming??

Can, but anywhere from low to max settings, depending on game resource demand....

prefer to mid high settings. no need those AA/AF i cannot tell much

i m worried cuz 660ti lags at time during spell spams in ROS.

Check whether your dvi is dual dvi. Else it wont work.

Next is yes you can run. If you are currently lagging at times of spell spamming. Upgrading it to 1440p is just not gonna be any better.

ports shld be no issue..

would be best if some 1 else with 660ti or similar is running 1440p gaming...

Bro. dual dvi does not mean 2 dvi ports.

Dual dvi link is in all total Should have 24pins iirc.

Best is check with your card manufacturer.

RoS as in d3 Reaper of Souls?

read in reddit/bnet forums that some people with 780s/titans/r9 2xx cards still get frame drops when u have 4 players spamming skills, etc...this is worse in areas like rakkis crossing in act 3...lol

d3 is not a very gpu intensive game, i guess its the software side that has issues

Even I have issues playing RoS with the amount of FPS dropped during mass spell casting with my friend's crossfire r9 280x msi with 1080p tri monitor.

RoS whatever GPU for now totally terrible if you have 4 people spamming skills.

Not sure why. But dual gpus seems fine with max fps uncap lol. But drop till 60fps @.@.

Anyway TS, 660ti wont be able to get the settings you intended on 1440p ba. Quite demanding.

1200p still can as i am also using 660ti and dell U2410 monitor.

1440p is very demanding. Suggest you upgrade your monitor and see what kind of settings you can adjust first.

Acutally 1440p resolution monitor you can downgrade to 1080p resolution by changing the display at control panel

seasonic m12ii 620w is able to support 2 8pin pci-e gpu but it only has 1 6pin and 1 6+2pin. U have to get a 6pin to 8pin pci-e adapter.
