How do you even do that... my dashcam records video footage at 1920x1080p resolution at around 100MB/minute.

For a 24hr block that is already somewhere in the range of 140GB...

And you mentioned you are using a single 128GB of memory card?
No idea. maybe if no motion detect it should save some space?
If friday i am still able to view monday's footage. using 128gb card.

Thought you said 4-5 days of "24hr block", ie continuously 24hr recording for 4-5 days...

If you got motion detection turned on then that explains it.

Like I said for my carpark, turning on motion detection is as good as turning on 24/7 recording as there is always a car passing by every 2-3 minutes.

Even if I put in 128GB memory card, and set parking/motion to 100% ratio with driving recording, park for Friday night, and come back Saturday night (24hrs later), the Friday footage would have already been overwritten.

Yes it's that bad.

Maybe u can try the new Omni 4K X800? able to support up to 512gb card now.
But the 4K viewing should be draining on the battery imo.

A810 can take any type of micro SD card? Read somewhere can only take endurance level and above ones, is it true? I just got my set.

best to always take the endurance one.. due to the longevity and heat

My 3 year old 128GB high endurance last month keep causing my FX2 Pro to keep rebooting occasionally. Bought a new piece and slot in, now okay already. I usually swap the cards every week. The original 128GB iRoad one still working fine.

p/s: There is a new one I think - 'max' endurance.

My road x9 suddenly said no wifi dongle. I took out the SD card and saw inside my pc, the last recording was in July 2024 🤔🤔

So after July 2024 the camera has not record any video at all?

Like that considered camera spoilt already?

likely so,

iRoad car cams seems to suffer heat related issues causing premature expiration of the cam.

Anyone has experience with 70mai dashcam? Saw online comments that the camera can be quite hot.
I’ve been using the 70mai Smart Dash Cam Pro Plus A500S since last year, and so far, so good. I love the clarity of the videos. The only downside is that I don’t have real-time car park recording, so I’ve had to enable the Timelapse Video mode instead, which is a decent alternative.

I haven't experienced any heating issues at all.

Using A810 currently, tried with 4G parking kit & no 4G parking kit, both car battery will die after say 1-2 days of not starting the car. Used before A800S with no 4G parking kit, car battery still strong after 3-4 days of not starting.

A810 will once in a while turn off when weather very hot, for a few seconds then own self on again.

If the auto restart happen more frequent later, means the cam got problem alr. I used to have a cheap 70mai but forget which model, will auto restart frequent as well after 1 yr usage.

Now i using 500s no issue. I think this cam more than 2-3 yrs alr. Everyday under heat for many hrs.

Here mostly would have gone for the known brands and bigger players, you might need to see the manuals and settings/specs of the said device and see if it works for you.
