The ashes bring back to China.

if do so, you buy a seat and put the urn there…. You think other passengers no complaint?

Or you put inside your luggage, and put at overhead cabin?

And they didn't even want to bring back her ashes. Maybe all she was to them was someone who transfers them money regularly.

And they have 3 kids... I bet the boy is the youngest kid.

They said her brothers and sisters will be in Singapore next time and pay her visit. Please don't second guess. She already died.

Wonder sg casino got junket or not. But junket also won’t target no money clients.

Speechless. Grieving parents who did not take her ashes back to China due to family circumstances.

Ya. Her ash urn is too heavy to bring back to China. Farmer's house is not big enough to put an urn somewhere. What hypocrisy. Come all the way down to SG for holiday huh?

A 34-year-old Chinese woman, Zhang Qiujiie (transliteration) was found dead in her room at Marina Bay Sands on Dec. 20, 2025. The time of death was 3.13 pm.

According to media reports from Shin Min Daily News and 8World, her parents only arrived on Dec. 29 as they had to apply for their passports.

They were informed of their daughter's death by the Chinese embassy and had not heard from their daughter for about two years after she left to work in the city.

Funeral director Zheng Haichuan told 8World that Qiujie's parents are farmers and not well off.

Her parents told Zheng that their daughter was a kind person, even donating money to help during the Wenchuan earthquake.

Zheng kindly agreed to handle the funeral arrangements pro bono.

According to Shin Min, her parents hoped to find out more about their daughter's life in Singapore.

Zheng told 8World that their parents did not know how long their daughter had been in Singapore, or why she passed away.

They could not access her locked phone, but hoped that someone who knew her in Singapore might provide them with more information.

Zheng asked anyone who might have information for the family to contact him.

Qiujie also leaves behind two teenage siblings, who could not make it to Singapore due to the family's financial difficulties.

8World reported that the family did not take her ashes back to China due to family circumstances. Qiujie was cremated on Jan. 1, and her parents have returned to China.

Zheng plans to lay her to rest in Mandai, so her siblings can visit their sister when they come to Singapore.

On Dec. 20, 2025 at about 3pm, the Police received a call for assistance at 1 Bay-front Avenue. A 34-year-old woman was found motionless at the said location and was pronounced dead at scene by an SCDF paramedic. Based on preliminary investigations, the Police do not suspect foul play. Police investigations are ongoing.
