SSD shoot up to 1K+ so it doesnt meet his budget. unless he dun mind chaning gpu to an older gen. (but after checking it, old gen also not that much difference lol )

ya. i was quite amazed i could build my current rig @ 1.05k too with ssd and 1060 gtx+i5. i really had to squeeze every frickin ounce of performance out.

the gpu he can compromise la... if 1050 comes out soon lol.

for the gpu, cpu and even with extra hdd u wont use above 350W (est.) so 400W is actually more than enough.

where's your cpu+mobo?
try to see if lazada/qoo10 has anything similar cheaper. u can save alot one. especially casing since u dun need to lug such a big thing home.
