Don't bother with tribecar and just go with Getgo since they have so many locations these days

I like the Getgo fee structure because of it's transparency. Yes it's cost is marked up, if you drive a 10km/L car the per km cost is around 27c before discount so it is reasonably not far from personal car usage cost.

The problem with bluesg is that if your chores take more than an hour, the $25 hourly rate makes it more expensive.
Plus depending on the location it may be hard to book a bluesg at peak hour so it's only workable if you have a flexible schedule and no time commitments

but bluesg is flat rate all day. So easier for the mind For small chores. Also availability is more consistent. Most people don’t hoarde the cars.

I might try getgo off peak soon. I wanna try out the PayLah! 12% discount. Also wonder if there are other cc combos. Yesterday went to check the 3 getgo cars near my house. All decent condition. No dents or nicks. So I have to spend time taking fotoes around the car. This sounds a bit mafan

at the end of the day find which provider works best for you dollar and experience wise

You should be taking photos regardless of which car sharing provider or rental company you are renting from and regardless how poor the condition is, you never know when someone may pin an existing damage on you

My advice is dun use ride sharing due to the high excess. The little bit of saving doesnt justify the risk u are taking. Book taxi/phv is a better choice.

The first time i use getgo is to try it as i have 50% off. Thru and fro is abit 20km 1.5hrs and this only save me few dollar if based on 0 discount compare to phv. One minor accident is enough to give u headache. This is not ur own car or long term rental car. U cannot do private settlement with the other party. Sure need to go thru getgo so u cannot avoid the excess.

That’s right. I concur taxI/phv is more effective for the purpose of travel compared to car-sharing.

buy then I also want to feel driving.sitting in the command position ns solving your road map puzzle is fun. Small dosage each week

Just make sure don't get into any accident else your feeling of sitting at the command position is costly.
Many like you will think/feel, that hey, i won't be that unlucky want lah... Just need that 0.000001 percent of bad luck or lost concentration and thats it.

Hi guys. What’s your feedback
Be careful with Shariot! I requested deposit refund in March 2023, shariot replied on the 17th of March the refund will be dobe within 60 days. BUT till today I've not received my refund. I have contacted them online numerous times but nothing has been done.

I used a lot of Getgo before I got my own and enjoyed using their service.
Easy to book and the cars in my area are relatively well maintained.

There was also a Tribe car which was a new Jazz but their app and service are terrible.
Super confusing T&Cs particularly the fuel portion where you're supposed to return the car just short of the low fuel indicator coming on.
End up everybody just top up a few litres (which bumped the cost up to above Getgo's structure) or pray that the indicator doesn't come on during your booking.
And when I emailed them on closing my account they directed me to print out a physical form to be mailed to their office wtf
I beg to defer

tribecar probably have one of the cheapest/most economical fuel economy in the market

by letting you fuel up and return as long as fuel light don’t light up it’s cheaper compared to getgo hr+mileage charge

ofcourse there is a risk that you overfuel and return back alot

Highly agreed

thats why I have already shared the calculation on those post whereby people got into accident with carsharing vehicles and paying 8-10k++ excess

if you calculate the savings vs risk, you are the ultimate loser in a car sharing scenario

Imagine 1 accident , pay 10k. 10k is how many PHV/taxi rides? Everyday you take $50 worth, it can last you 200 days
