I never bought from SG A&F website but the US website is really cheap especially during their online storewide 50% or even 60% sale. Even with additional overseas shipping of around S$10 per shirt, it is still much cheaper than Sg prices during US sales.

If you buy from US A&F online (access via proxy to to use US IP else the IP check will redirects to SG A&F website) you cannot deliver to non-US address. Even when I use my assigned Comgateway US address, US's A&F online knows it is a freight forwarder address and doesn't allow me to ship to my Comgateway address.

I once step foot in the knightsbridge store and less than 5mins walked away. The dim lighting and pungent smell in the store is making me really uncomfortable.

The clothing style seems to be more suitable for teenagers who want to be seen wearing clothes with big words and logos screaming "hey look i am wearing expensive branded mass produced poor quality clothes because i can afford too"

Then I also heard the "discriminatory" hiring practices of A&F, well they have an image to project, can't blame them. The CEO of A&F don't wear A&F clothing, he tailors his clothes at Saville Row. Just like the Sheng Siong granny goes to buy her groceries from the wet market...

I walked next door to Brooks Brothers and felt more comfortable there. The style of cloth relate more to old uncles like myself. I like the feel of the supima cotton fabric. However their flagship shirts are outsourced to Malaysia and other garments are made in China. The higher quality Black Fleece series is not available in the local flagship store and neither are the shoes and bags.

Thanks goodness there is online site and boxing day sale.

Same fit. They have 4 cutting, traditonal, regualar, slim and extra slim. For me Regular is too wide and slim is too tight. So I order regular and taper the shirt.

The polo however fits nicely.

If you want to order online I suggest getting a custom fit Mercer and Sons shirt. The fit is hard to get right. Eg collar size actual, shoulder 2 size down and waist 4 size down. their default fit is brooks brothers traditional fit.

But the construction quality and fabric is rock solid, just like the Brooks Bros shirts in the 60s.

Most of the opening team have already left due to various reasons such as school or found a full time job etc. Many also left due to the working environment. Shall not comment too much on it haha.

Hmm to be honest it is just a part time job. Nobody really works full time there cept for the managers and the security team. Most only get 2-3 x 5 hours shift per week and some even less.

Good luck with the fit. BB fit horrible for me, in fact TM Lewin is much better fit for asians.

The only reason why I buy BB is for the iron free shirts. Normal work days I can't be bothered to iron. And their OCBD collar is nice.

I have some lewin shirts. Fit quite well. My ofc dress code is dress shirt n tie and i thought BB dress shirt might give some variety if they fit well.
