I didn't engage them. Went down to discuss requirement. The ID attached to me was very yaya. First feel already no chemistry liao. They wanted a second meet up to show quotation but I decline

I didn't sign anything with them yet, as our unit haven't TOP but so far reviews from them is good.

no lah... their rate is more like middle... not cheap not expensive! but good workmanship.. just get quote by them last week. 11K for 3 room bto..

I think they still give reasonably price for BTO....I met up with them for my EC....Quote almost double of what I get from another reputated ID but I must admit they give better quality and maybe better workmanship (Depend on ID I supposed) but definitely not worth the additional dollar you are going to pay...

In the end, after seeing the first quote from Absolook and the 2nd quote from the 2nd reputated ID and finally a 3rd quote from a good carpenter who charges higher to assure better quality material and workmanship, I realized that ID's profile margin is really huge. So I decide that for instead of getting an ID as per last time for my BTO, I will become ID myself for my EC since I already have my own design. The money I save can go to get better quality material like better wood and better internal laminate for my carpentry which the IDs want to charge me another 20% higher? So I will work with the reputed carpenter who charges higher for better stuff (But still quote significantly lower than ID) But if you want to do it yourself, you must prepare to face all the inconvenience like finding the electrician, hacker, etc yourself...
