Thanks but no thanks. I brought it back to the shop and they were kind enough to let me exchange it for the WDTV instead.
I had zero problems with it til today.

I appreciate your kind attention to my problems though. But I just cannot accept a product with so much defects out of the box. Maybe I am suay kena lemon set.

Is Ac Ryan still providing support for the Play!on series in terms of firmware updates and add on features as this series is no longer in your product list?

Hi there, yes we are indeed focusing more on the VEOLO 4K at this moment in time.

The Playon!HD3 is coming to 3 years old now, and as much as we'd like to continue development, there is only so much we can do before limitations kick in. In the case of the Playon!HD series, we not only face hardware limitations, but the chipset vendor, Realtek, has also dropped support for many of the software codes needed for our development work as the market moves on to Android.

As such the Playon!HD3 is officially EOL and removed from our product line-up.

Right now we only have 1 player capable of 4K playback - VEOLO 4K - unless something suitable comes along.

Yes you can.

However, depending on your area/ how high your place is, you may need a power source to boost the signal reception.

The Booster Antenna does not come with power source because our Playon! LIVE is able to supply power. In your case you can get the Booster Antenna to try first, if needed that you can get a power adapter.

I'm still using the POHD mini 2 with my Synology NAS to view the movies on my tele. Is there a wifi dongle for it still on sale as I need to move my router to another position and not able to connect via LAN.

Hello - I'm in needs to buy a new PlayOn!HD the ONLY media player without being based on Android (box) - Can I know whether or where I can buy this unit, please? I'm one of the first owner of PlayOn!HD first generation and never failed to be impressed with this device!

My current PlayOn!HD has been 8 years and never fails me until recently, I lost its network capability to have "WORKGROUP" submenu listed under its NETWORK menu... (my NETWORK menu now only has "My Shortcut" submenu)... If anybody knows why and how to fix this, please?

Or anybody wants to sell their PlayOn!HD any generation in good working condition, I will consider.
