just get my set today, and have issue writing files into extsd.
even simple thing like create folder oso can't.
tried with 3 diff microsd so not the sd card issue.
upon checking with some program seem like its been lock.
anyone have this issue?

Are you browsing the SD card using the tablet itself or through your PC via USB cable connected to the tab? You can try it again after restoring the player to its default, please go to the player settings. Sorry for any inconvenience.

another update:

this green thing doesn't happen after awhile. After posting this screenshots, i tried to use my tablet again...the greenish screens disappeared. i have back the menu black background without the green defects anymore.

any idea whats wrong?

If this is an intermittent problem then we have to check and give you a replacement. recieved my set on wednesday afternoon, do a full charge for 12 hrs, did not encountered any auto shut down, but few things to feedback to AC Ryan, this tab 7 might not be suitable to run on Android 4.0, the tab seem to be slagging when we load the browser, even slower than a smart phone. There are bugs i think you guys need to fix to make the software stable. my screen is not evenly fit into the casing. Look to be your QC is not 100%. Overall i would rate it to be 5/10. I would not recommend to anyone by comparing it to any tab in the PC Show, you are jeopadising your reputation by producing a low standard of tab, not value for money.

I m not sure how many of them had bought this tab 7 but from this forum, there are more negative feedback than positive, Hope AC Ryan can seriously look into the issues and come out with plan to help those with serious auto shut down or any hardware issue.

saw on tv harvey norman also selling S$229 tablet but never say the brand

thank you for respond.
I was try to set application save path to extsd and it unable to create the folder or write anyfile into mnt/extsd.
try to download some file explorer apps same result of unable to create/write/copy thing in mnt/extsd.
reading from sd card was no issue. seem like i have no right to write in mnt/extsd.

If it is the case then its not possible, apps can only be moved from Tablet main storage to the built in internal storage. As the internal storage is partition into two, Main 0.95GB and internal 5.95GB. External SD storage is only meant for you to save the back up application and saving media files, document files.

Hi, I'm not moving my apps to extsd. i just set its "save path" to extsd.
eg: a manga download software or movie download software its download will go into extsd.

and i cant even create a "new folder" in extsd.

I see, sorry to inform you that we still need to improve this feature. Currently apps can only work with the internal memory of the tablet.

just encountered auto shutdown today. my son was watching video when it auto shutdown. he couldnt power on again. when i came home, i plugged in he charger and the batt was at 15%.

I can only run over to Kaki Bukit so many times to replace my set. Makes no economic sense to the customer if they have to keep on heading down to ur office to make these 1-1 exchanges...

And I would like more info on ur pouches. Hopefully can get them together in one go.

To my knowledge they never guarantee anything, if you take their Veolo release as an example they said that there might or might not be an release of android 4.0 to this device, now their saying that they can't fix bugs in the current firmware because they are testing android 4.0 that might or might not be released.

It seems to me you should be cautious dealing with Ac Ryan, watch their forums and look at all the complaints over other products they have released. They behave badly when it comes to live up to their promises, they generaly release their product long before they are finished and lets the customers be the bug testers.

I understand your concern, sorry for any inconvenience. As to our next shipment, our developers are aware and now making sure that those issues will no longer be there.

For the casing it might be a bit late as it will only be available in the stores around 3rd or last week of August with a price ranging from SGD20-SGD25.

ACR , when is the tentative roll out date for the new firmware to be release out ? And how could we go about getting this update? Will there be any issue in the connection to the server when update ? Do advice.. can't wait to see wad magic does the new firmware do...

I am quite satisfy with this product actually, but too bad the screen now has one line on it which cannot be removed even with factory restore.

Feeling so frustrated because getting more and more problems for this device.

autoshutdown again....... was watching movie when all of a sudden it went black. cannot power on the tablet again. need to plug in charger. battery life shows 10%.
