If the next shipment came and gave me problem again, I'm going to return the tablet and ask for refund. This is getting out of my nerve... I can't keep going to kaki bukit just to change.

Same to me, mine, if there is no hardware problem, I am ok with the device. My screen got a line now, suddenly out, going to exchange for a new set.

Ac Ryan seems to care about your problems, don't you think? How many of you will recomend them as a brand in the future?

I would recommend you to tell anyone you know about your problems with Ac Ryan, this way consumer power kicks in. Then they will be forced to fix things before the product reaches the market.

I for one have learned my lesson never to buy anything from them again.

We might need to start a facebook group, so we can tell others about their behavior.

Ac Ryans slogan should be changed to Defiling Digital Entertainment

when i first saw this tablet, i went to the internet to search for more information, but i could not find any.

then when i heard it was a pre-order at the PC show, i didn't bother to go down.

before the option to pre-order without having to go to the PC show appear, i already purchased the Samsung Tab 2 from amazon.

so in some way i might have made the right decision. hopefully we all learn from this experience. Hope that AC ryan will make a better tablet next time.

Haha, they didn't even reply my e-mail on the hardware issue. I guess we have to wait quite sometimes.

Well they actually confirmed today that their company is so small that they only can do work on one product at the time, so I wouldn't be waiting for any miracles from them any time soon.

Sorry for the inconvenience and for the delay, as the first firmware we received last weekend do lack improvement on the issues reported. The new firmware is still under test and will be available soon. Will give another update regarding this later afternoon or tonight after I check with our developer again.

For those who purchased from our dealers and the unit is causing some issues and want to have one to one replacement, please let us know for us to verify first and then you can go directly to our service center to make a replacement. But please note that at this point of time we currently do not have any stock of the Tab. In this case please PM your details and we will inform you when the stocks arrived. Sorry for any inconvenience.

it is strange that you have no stock to exchange but got stock to sell with your dealers

keekeekee :s11:

it would be a good idea to recall your product from dealers or the new CASE counter @ SLS will start calling your office since you know there is something wrong with the firmware, don't want to lose all your dealership u know

you don't want this low margin product to destroy AC Ryan's reputation

the consumer electronic goods market is very competitive you know

u should tell your china OEM to stop production and wait for the firmware update

it cost u more to update the firmware in singapore

once firmware ready, ramp up production

if the tab works, u sell @ S$229, u can sell truckloads just in time for Xmas

After installation, you can check the firmware version installed on your Tab. Please go to Tab settings, "About Tablet" and then look for Build number.

If successful, the build number should show 4.0.4 ACR 20120710.T7 Version1.1.2

anyway to the fellow users who are going to update their firmware,

after u try to download, u wont see any progress bar, u need to press on the Online Upgrade button again to see the progress bar.

after u download finish, u Press the 'OK' button,

it will seem like the update has hang, but it hasn't...there wont be any loading bar, just wait for the Power Off notification (u dont have to press anything also) after that will see the android robot icon big big with loading bar below.
