If one earns $4000/- and assuming you work 22 days a month, half day leave works out to be $90/-. Add it to the cost of the set $229+90 = $319/-.![]()

Saw this AC Ryan tablet at $219 just now at Challenger United Square. Not sure whether it is promotion or not. The specs are 8GB Flash, 1GB DDR3 RAM, MicroUSB, HDMI, WIFI and Bluetooth. Not sure about the processor.
If you do not want to miss the deal, grab it fast.

i couldn't disagree more.
$219 is for Challenger members. $229 will be for non-members. $229 has always been the standard pricing (it can only go down)
btw Challenger are selling the official leather casing/pouch for $19.99. (No offers even if u are challenger member)
Like I have said before, time and again, if you can afford to wait, and can spend close to $300, wait for Nexus 7. I'm not going to write out the problems with ACRyan's Tab7 anymore, You can refer to previous pages for a brief history of problems with the tablet.
Speaking of which, the casing seems to be a little too tight for the tablet. Hopefully it will loosen with gradual use.
Whatever it it, every tablet has its pros and cons, even for Nexus 7. Otherwise, you won't see people (in this forum or other forum) dumping it after shipped to them or used it for a while. Some even bring them and selling them at ridiculous pricing to rip people off.
Anyway, if I really want Nexus 7 tablets, I can get a few of them in at standard purchase price (US$199/~SG$250 each) with no taxes or shipping charges in a 2-3days' time. Right now, I'm just happy with my tab 2 7" which I can mod it when I like.
Just for your info, Samsung is announcing the new range of gadgets on 15th Aug 2012.
do u already own an unit of ACRyan tab7?
sounds abit strange for a potential buyer to be defending a unit he doesn't own.

Bro you bought the tab already so be happy with it. Furthermore you got 1-to-1 exchange with brand new set. This to me is worth buying (but I want a 3G+wifi tab so I didn't buy). The Nexus don't have 1-to-1 exchange.
ACR, may I verify with you on the outlet that is selling the tab 7 case..
Harvey norman <- National wide selling or selected outlet?
Challenger <- National wide selling or selected outlet?
Others store is like @@?
Hope you can provide more clear instruction, as I m going down to harvey norman (West mall) tmr... juz wonder if I am able to get it from there..![]()

I am not a ACR owner - I do own a Eken P90 MIC tablet, acer Iconia A200, Ipad.
Basically, when I buy something I expect it to be in good working condition.
That means fully functional as per specifications (eg. Acer, ipad). The last thing I expect to do is to have to tweak to get things to work (eg. P90). Having said that it was fun to hack, tweak, upgrade firmwares, etc - that is if you enjoy those sort of things. But after a while, it can get a bit tiring and disruptive when you want to get things done.
For ACR, the problems are numerous with hardware and software (lol 48 pages on HWZ!) - obviously these model/units are not consumer-ready but sold like it was. That to me is not acceptable. Hence a 1-2-1 exchange is an ENTITLEMENT and not a privilege.
