I will be going for ramesh as I have been to Kaplan for F4. As for F5, go for Roy Goh or Sami. Roy is more systematic
Oh..I'm taking Terence for f4 and Mary for f5 since she was my f2 lecturer and Kaplan discount rate is high.
Yvonne and Sami for f6&7.

i used the blue book that Tan Peng Kwee has written for SAA. Manage to get 62marks on June this year by self studying his textbook . Dont study his lecture note. It's too brief. I never even bother to revise his note. His textbook is not that bad though. Alternatively, you can try Kaplan F4 textbook which is more precise and detailed and easy to read.

Agree that his lecturer notes is really too brief...I tried using his textbook but aso did not help much... :(

failed f4 (kaplan), self study then went f4 (lsbf) for revision under ramesh :)

he has a so-called guided essays booklet for every chapter, memorised all and applied accordingly

passed but not very fantastic though

I have several enquiries.

(1) I am thinking of taking P1, P2 or P3 in the June 2013 sitting and I would like to enquire how many 'P' papers should you take in a sitting? I will be taking F4 as well.

(2) Since I will be doing F4 in the June 2013 sitting as well, can I still take P3? Both F4 and P3 are on the 10th of June.

(3) Lecturers to recommend for P1, P2 and P3? What is their teaching style like?

Thanks in advance! :)

you cannot do F4 with P3. they fall on the same day. mutually exclusive. F4 takes precedence for the progression rule. so only F4 P1 P2 for you. Maximum.

Go for f6 or f9 first cos they are linked to options p6 and p4. better to clear earlier so wont block your options. f4 however is on same day as p3. so it would be good if u plan your mods well

I think may be you self study f4 then go for revision class for F4. For F6 & F9, you can go for Yvonne and Sami at LSBF respectively.

Hmm i think F4 is the only subject you can really study yrself. Be it terence , quek soon han (if he still in kaplan) or tan peng kwee. Main point is really the technique to write a law answer. I only went for first three classes of tan peng kwee lessons whereby he guided us to write good law answer with group projects. The rest of the lesson which i think can really self study and memorise. I think Tan peng kwee is good in giving you a idea how to write. First write the timeline of the events that happen then etc. I always remember the case name and fact to support my case study answer.

Ya i think for you take either F7 or F8 alone is better choice since u also working. Dun forget the exam date is one day after another for 7 and 8.

I took F7 and F8 this semester and also working full time. After exam i always got a bad headache and next day still have to go for the exam. Very stressful.

By the way, I have F7 textbook and lectures notes from Sami LSBF class. If you interested I can sell it to you.

Roy do not teach P7. Roy teaches P5. Paul Owen teaches P7. It may be his last term teaching P7 before he goes back to his homeland.

Oh!!! i see...thanks ya!

Would like to seek for comments. If full time working, is it possible to take up 3 ACCA papers in one sem?

No, but also depending on which level and your coping level. I think u can only take 2 and if u take 2 max & take 1 theory and 1 calculation.
