Would like to seek for comments. If full time working, is it possible to take up 3 ACCA papers in one sem?

No, but also depending on which level and your coping level. I think u can only take 2 and if u take 2 max & take 1 theory and 1 calculation.

i have a few friends including myself who are working full-time and took 3 papers at a go in one sem. It all depends on your working hours and the ability to take time off to study when nearer to the exams. Tough but not impossible.

hmm...I got 1st 3 papers exemption. Will be starting from F4 onwards... until now i stil cant decide which paper and how many papers should i take...and also i plan to do a career switch...

I'm intending to self-study for F7 and F8 so I bought some kaplan textbooks from bros here. However, those textbooks are international variants and i understand that for these 2 modules, we will be taking SGP variant.

So can anyone tell me what's the difference between these 2 variants for the 2 paper, and ways to help me bridge the differences?

F4: Tan Peng Kwee/Adrian Hoa (Went tpk 3 lessons then self study all the way)
F5: Sami (I went to Ian Lim class for few lessons, self study all the way got 83mark)
F6: Yvonne Goh/Lee Yuet Lai (Next term studying either one)
F7: Sami (Attended 5 lessons out of 17 lectures, not bad. Self study the rest also. Consol adjustment i learn myself.)

In the end, although i sign up all the lessons but dont really have time to go. I self study most of the time...studied textbook attend past year question. Prefer book is GTG....

For your info, IAS 1 is equal to FRS 1. Just change IAS X to FRS X
For IFRS 1 is equal to FRS 101.. But not all are like this for IFRS. You may refer to the link above. Is by PWC.

If you are ok with sacrificing the exam fees and don't really care what honours you will get for the Oxford brooks degree, you can try taking 3 or even 4 at one go.

For me, I self-studied all the modules and out of the 7 paper I passed so far, 3 are borderline passes. However I'm ok with it since it probably help me complete them earlier

my fren said helena not bad... she took her P7 class. i assume she should teach f8 as well.
