Wondering if 84 marks can be prizewinner for f5! This time f5 was easy..

Depends on the cohort that time I got yr score for f5 in june 2012 exam for first attempt. I didnt get it. In fact the only one I seen from website who got it was ftms choong soon on who got 89 and ranked second in sg. Lsbf., kaplan and saa did not mention prizewinner for 1st and 3rd position. So first and third could be self study or from other sch. But u may have a chance for 3rd position. Based on past score lowest third I seen is 74 or 79.

Do you all keep your F paper texts and notes for your P papers?

Usually sold off or give away to fren. U can always buy bac the latest edition of notes from online or bras brasah if u ever need to reference it again. No point keeping old version.

WITHDRAWAL OF SINGAPORE ADAPTED PAPER

Dear Student,

ACCA has decided that it will withdraw the Singapore versions of the F7 Financial Reporting and F8 Audit and Assurance papers from December 2014. This means that the last offering of these adapted papers will be June 2014.

For June 2014 you can choose to attempt the Singapore adapted papers or the main papers purely based on International standards however, from December 2014 you will only have the option to attempt the main papers.

The Singapore adapted papers for P2 Corporate Reporting based on Singapore FRSs and P7 Advanced Audit and Assurance based on SSAs will continue to be offered.

Last but not least, anyone doing F4 at Kaplan part time, which lecturer would be good for Jan 2014 parttime class?

Going to take F7 and F8 this Dec. I missed the July intake due to personal reasons. Is it too tough to start F7 and F8 together in August ? Which school and lecturers to recommend for F7 and F8 ?

Maybe little tough doing 2 tgt as F7 consol is tedious but still manageable if ur discipline enough to revise after every lesson

My F8 audit paper 82%, just wonder any chances get into top 3?

High chance for sg number 1. Which school did you do with ? If you self-study, even if you get number 1 you won't get notified. Because school will inform their respective students if they get into top 3. Last time when ACCA still had the joint scheme with ICPAS, even self-study candidates who topped would get notified by ICPAS but it is not the case now. You can only judge by others' standings i think.
