ACCA Online Learning!

Hi all,

I am going to take up F6 and F9 paper in Jun19.

I am considering whether I should go for tuition in LSBF or buy the online studying package would be enough. As I have work commitment and might not be able to attend all the classes.

Have anyone tried the ACCA Online Learning before? How is the quality and which tuition provider is recommended?

Acowtancy has a compiled practice questions from pasr year paper which is very conveniently resourceful. Just that it doesnt have those variant papers.

Opentuition is average for me. I didnt use it much.

I bought most of my textbooks from carousell (p1 p2 p3 p6) to self study and i passed on first trt

What are good revision kit in the market for P6?

I printed and READ past year paper questions 2012-2015 for 2018 dec p6 exam. A lot of questions reappeared and i scored 70+!

I think LearnSignal requires you to pay to become a member before you are able to access their resources. As a result, I did not opt for that. I didn't try ACowtancy but did make use of OT which I found quite useful for modules that I self-studied like P1 and P3. Not sure how it is for the new SBL module though so can't comment on that.

Guess its possible if you devote a lot of time studying them. P6 focuses on theory while F6 focuses more on calculation. P6 has quite a number of extra chapters not covered in F6. Although not recommended , possible to pass if u start early and spam enough practice

There is a big syllabus change recently (especially on GST) so thats something to take note and probably will be regularly tested the next few sittings.

For P6, you need to know theories well. You get marks for simply stating the obvious. Its good if you read at least 5 full paper solutions. I memorise the answers from there! (I never bothered to practice any but I find out how to derive the logic of every question).

Also, your tax computation theories and calculation from F6 must be clear or your foundation will be weak. All the best

Hi, I am not used to the Tutor Provider's lecturers teaching styles. This is my first time attending ACCA.

Anyone have advice, guidance and tips for it.

Currently, I am attending SBL and SBR for Exam June 2019 and I have made exam fee payment at ACCA website. Can I change Exam June 2019 to September 2019?
