Hi All! i really need some advice here. I have taken F1-F3 and F9 papers till date. however, i then understand that ACCA will never lead me to CA. Can somebody advise me if i should continue ACCA and pay yearly fee, or use the money to take a part time degree in UOL SIM GLOBAL so that i have a chance to be a chartered accountant in singapore?
may i know if my acca diploma cert is still valid if i stopped acca?
I switched from IT industry to accounting industry about a year ago and is only a small accounting assistant right now. please help!
LSBF is having a ACCA preview talk on 19 may. Apparently one of their student completed ACCA within 2 years. wow!. sounds good!. i might go for hear what they have to offer..since i wanna take acca and complete it within 2 years too.

There isn't any agreement now to convert ACCA affiliates or members to CA SG, however, you can choose to take either ACCA or SQP foundation program before taking SQP professional examinations in order to be a member of CA SG.
UOL also does not lead you to CA SG and will be more expensive than ACCA. IMHO, ACCA is a lot more recognised than a UOL cert. And if you intend to work in a Big 4 firm in the future, ACCA usually have a higher chance of entering than any private uni grad in Singapore.
I know many who completed ACCA within 2 years. Don't be so amazed. ACCA students sign up classes because of the lecturers and not the school. I would recommend you find out who are the better ACCA lecturers around first before attempting to register multiple modules all at the same school.
