Hi, I heard P2 should be taken with P2 should be taken with P7. Is it true?

I am going to take F5, F7 and retake F9 for June 2010 paper. Still considering if I should take one more P level paper......

I got information from here that P3 is related to F5,7 and 9 so I be skipping that.
P1 and P2 clash with F5 and F7 so that is definitely out. Anyone has advise about P6?

Regards

u not able to take P6, yet because u need to have attempted P1 to P3 inorder to take the optional P paper.

P2 clash with F7, P1 clashes with F5 I think.. so you are left with P3.

You may want to enquire first whether you can take one more P paper, I think can but its better to enquire first.

I would like to contribute some of my experience to those still taking ACCA...

Throughout my ACCA student life (Still a student as of now), I never failed any of the calculation paper..

but AFM P4 really got me twice... can't seems to clear it..

I pass F9 at 58 without much studying..

I tried twice at P4 but still can't get thru..

Good luck for those considering P4 :s7:

Hi avenlim,

I have intended to attempt P4 via self-study before coming across your post in this forum.

May I know if you have attended any P4 lectures prior your attempts?

[update] Please ignore my query.

How come P4 is so difficult? for those who have taken the can share ur experience?

For example, for me I find F5 and F8 most difficult especially the application part..

Wow, you are so ambitious, clearing P2 ain't no easy task, unless you are real good.
Good Luck!

I have frens who achieved so. They are full time students, with part time odd jobs.

It's not late for both options as classes only start in Jan, classes go on for next few months before sitting the exams in June. you can go to SAA or Kaplan for details.

Thanks..

It is a choice if you think the hours spent in lectures will be more beneficial if you used them for self-study. I gathered that those who self-studied usually used lectures notes from students who had passed the papers.

I knew of a friend who self studied for F9 and passed using lecture notes from ex-students but not anyone who passed F6 without attending lectures.

Good luck with 4 papers.

May embark on ACCA soon and am exempted F1-3, F7. As for the remaining F4-6, F8-9, which ones shld I take together and not too taxing on my brains? For individual papers, can y'all recommend the respective institution and lecturer for those papers? Please drop me a mail regarding those issues. And also, which institution has lower charges? Is there vast difference btw SAA main n 6 ORQ branch? Please drop me a mail if u r able to provide assistance. Thanks all!
