nope.. its an either or thingy

either u get $150 off per paper or get the early bird discount

in this case, $150 off is more cost saving than 20%/15% early bird discount

Only for NEW students to Kaplan?

I last time got take some paper in Kaplan, so I only can get 15/20% instead of the $150 off?

All attendees who attend our ACCA Preview Talk, will receive up to $150 discount voucher (conditions apply).

knn, nv say where to view conditions, later waste my time go.

f6 saa

MS LEE YUET LAI

MR ROBIN CHIA

MR GOH SHER WEE

which lecturer should i choose.

If u really want to choose SAA, then i would reccommend Ms Lee. However for f6, i think Yvonne (Kaplan) is good as she talk less crap and explain the tax rules very precisely and clearly. Most importantly, she would help by drawing a flow diagram to explain particular topic which is very useful when u study for exam.

FREE REVISION COURSES

Hi all

I have finally organised it - well, sort of.

I will run a free evening revision seminar on ACCA P1 on Thur 2nd December, and a similar session on ACCA P7 on Fri 3rd December. Plan is 6.30 - 9.30, and both will be in the centre close to Raffles Place.

I am also hoping to do a morning session on Sunday 28th November for P1, and an afternoon for P7. But this is so close, i am not sure I will get anyone turning up.

So...

Please PM me if you can attend, telling me which dates are ok for you. If I have enough interest for 28th, the sessions will run.

Just to remind you, I am the leading P1 and P7 tutor in London and am in Singapore right now. I am interested in the possibilities of running an ACCA program out here, but am not a registered college so cannot do anything official yet - so it is free! Enjoy.

Cheers

Paul

Some interestin ACCA stuff for students

All

Have been reading a lot of posts and feel the need to post the following:

ACCA PAPERS

You MUST attempt the ACCA papers in the order of the 4 groups of papers. If you have finished F1-F3, you can select ANY of the papers between f4 and F9. However, you cannot attempt any of the P1-P3 papers until you have attempted all the F4-9 papers. So you cannot do P1, P2 or P3 until you have passed (or been exempted from) at least 6 of the F papers, meaning you can sit the remaining 3 F papers plus 1 of P1-P3.

As with the F papers, you can do P1-P3 in any order - you do not need to do P1 first.

I recommend that every student checks very carefully before signing up to course combinations. So often students talk to me on April 15th (or Oct 15th), exam submission deadline day, and say the ACCA website has refused their exam entry and can they change courses - NO!!!!! Too late!!!!!

COURSE LENGTHS

Now this may scare you, but in London some colleges are covering some exam papers in only 6 or 8 evening classes.

My own college does 10 for every paper (which is the choice of the lecturers).

You guys get massive courses and loads of classes!!! So enjoy (and the course fees here are LESS than London, by the way).

All the best!

Me again.

Am changing the dates, and can confirm free intensive evening revision sessions for P1 on Wednesday 1st December 6.30 - 9.30, and for P7 on Friday 3rd December 6.30 - 9.30.

Will confirm the location today or tomorrow.

As before please PM (or reply to this thread) to let me know if you are coming and which date.

Thanks

Paul

can anyone recommend lecturer for F9?

Also is it recommended to take F8 + F9 + P1/P2 at one go?

I am working full time as well.
