can anyone recommend lecturer for F9?
Also is it recommended to take F8 + F9 + P1/P2 at one go?
I am working full time as well.
Hi zimy88,
i have done F8,F9,P1,P2 at one go before and cleared all papers. so i think it is achieveable. but u need to put in alot of hardwork as all 4 papers are tough
4 papers in one go is always tough, and P2 is a big syllabus. Having said this, both F8 and P1 (I teach both) are more about understanding and application rather than massive amounts to know, so it certainly can be done.
The toughest thing is studying 4 evenings every single week (assuming you are attending classes).
I am running a free P1 evening revision class on Wed 1st December (ie next week) in Singapore near Raffles Place, so why not come along and get a taste for what you are letting yourself in for?
You are more than welcome to attend if you wish - just PM me or email on pmerison@lsbf.org.uk.
All the best
Paul

Thanks for the invite paul. but I will need my free time to study for the up and coming exam. thanks though :![]()

how did u cope with P1? i am afraid i cant handle it well
doing F4 F6 P1 next january.. didnt add P2 in cos my reporting is really bad haha
i guess doing F8 and P1 together helps as some topics in P1 are repeats of F8. eg internal controls. But that was 1yr ago, not sure if there are any syllabus changes.
and yes i was working full time when i took my ACCA. Having a related job does help in your studies too.
Jus some suggestion:
Take F1-F3, if u can cope then f4 together also..if not just F1to F3 first.
Then F4, F7 and F9. Because F9 is unrelated to all papers except F2.
Then F6, F8 and F5. Because it is good to have some F7 knowledge prior to F8.
Just my own point of view.. some may prefer other sequence.
Then the rest of the papers...i dun know which sequence is better.
oh cool.. means P1 is more of audit yeah?
i am exempted from F8.. took it in uni 2 years ago, hopefully i can still remember majority of the syllabus =X
thanks for the prompt reply![]()

Hmmm - the second person to say yes but can I do a different date.
Well, I could do an alternative in the week of Dec 6th (i.e. first week of the exams) - or could do one after the exams in mid December I suppose.
Would that work for you?
Need advice, what is the difference between F7 SGP & F7 INT? Classes in SAA & Kaplan are for SGP or INT?
Thank you.
