heard that kaplan fired a ACCA lecturer this intake, and yvonne was put back in, any1 want to share what happened?

lol... it reminds me of one F6 lecturer that i had in Kaplan. It was so funny that the lecturer don't even know what she is teaching and keep giving the wrong answer and need the help of students to correct her mistakes. Luckily, Yvonne came back from mentality leave and took over her class, if not i would have fail f6.

2. study materials eg. notes, textbooks.. are they easily available?
3. how do you get AND how long will you take to get a degree under oxford brookes university (BSc in Applied Accounting)?

1: Kaplan SAA FTMS are the common institute that offer ACCA couses. in kaplan, lectures are conducted in around 50-100 people fee is about 15k for tuition +examination +membership...
2: if u study in a school, they will be provided
3: u can take after u complete F1-9 papers, earliest is after 3 semester, which means u will do it in the 4th sem. each sem is 6 months

How's life? I'm currently thinking of pursuing ICPAS/ACCA Joint Examination Scheme.

Based on my qualifications, I'm exempted 2 modules out of the 14 required meaning taking 12 modules. Can I ask what modules can be self-studied or paired? I hope to complete it within 3 years. Meaning taking 2 papers per sem if possible with self-study or lessons.

Please help to identify which is able to self-study?

Current Background: SAP Finance/General Ledger Analyst/Consultant and also starting a Small IT Services company with friends

Hope to move towards Management Consulting with Big 4 or continue on small biz.

i never self studied any paper but the most common papers that student would self study is P1 and P3.

ACCA has already decided for us the best sequence to take the modules. just follow it and u will not go wrong. there is a reason why u dun learn f8 after f7
