i feel that options should be chosen with passion/interest. afterall, its the interest which will bring us further even in times of difficulties.

there's no point taking a paper purely because of its easy/higher passing rate. i too will be taking P7 next Jan, taking 1 option this July. had a really hard time choosing between P4 and P6 though haha

btw, upon completion of your acca course, you can also take up other options paper(s). it will just be a standalone certificate though, not shown on your Professional level certificate.

Thanks for your reply! I thought about it, I really hate reporting and I might want to do finance in future, it's so hard to decide now! But I feel quite unfamiliar with going into finance, like what position do you start with? I wanna do smth like analysis, not dry reporting. Ahhh I'm so confused!

do you have any idea if we can do the additional optional paper concurrently? as in i did my P7 in June 2011 and intends to do P4 and P6 together for the December sitting.

P3 and P7

I have just sat for 2 F papers, P1 and P2 for this june exams. So I am left with P3 and optional papers for this dec exams.
But I am not sure I can pass all 4 papers so is it possible to take P3 and P7 for july 2011 intake before release of results?

I heard I cant continue with optional papers unless I pass all F and P1 to 3 papers. Any advice?

I just signed up for marty windle at ftms, heard that he's good.
domnic's teaching style is not rly suitable for me, i took his P1 class, didn't really learn much, kinda self studied in the end

really ? I took domnic p1 before and so I thought perhaps he would be better in terms of p3 exam techniques.
