hi another question guys.. especially for those who are also doing UOL BnF OR those who have studied corporate finance..

Is F9 very similar to CF?

I'm asking as i'll be taking CF in SIM once i enter year 2.. if it's very similar then i might as well take F9 tgt with CF hehe pls adivce thanks!

Is F4 manageable enough to self-study? It seems like it's pure theory, I'm thinking of signing up for F5 or F6 then self-study F4.

Yes, IMO f4 is basically more of memory power.

I attended Andy's class for Dec 11 exam. He is a very delicated teacher ( more than a lecturer), he gave his best to his students.

As for Marty, he has many fans. Did not attend his class so cannot vouch for him. You can check him up on his facebook page.

Search for "Marty Windle Lecturer" at facebook.

Both of them are committed to help students to pass, via marking their essays.

Since Andy was my P3 lecturer and I have benefited from his help in passing my P3, I would recommend him to u. : )

Unsure to take P1 or P2 first...
Anyone knows hows the difficulty lvl like for these 2 papers???

i agree. as coy law nv follow a sequence like contract law.

Contract law usually will follow a sequence like after forming contract wat will be the nxt step etc. which make u easier to study and absorb

Are you planning to take ACCA after u grad from UOL? If so, u don't have to take F9 as u may claim an exemption having done CF.

Yes, you can jump. Just note that maximum 4 papers per sitting.

And then you MUST "attempt" (you can apply for the exams but don't go which is wasting $ no doubt) the 3 core papers before attempting the optional papers (any 2 from P4 to P7).

P1 is theory-based while P2 reminds me of F4 (rules) rather than F7 (calculations).

In my opinion, P2 is a very demanding paper whilst P1 is much do-able.

Any good lecturer to recommend for p2 ? I only hav choice btw goh sher wee or ben lee for p2. Taught by Goh for F6 last round for Jun'12 sitting..I like the fact his notes are good..with alot of questions n solutions provided..But duuunoee can pass not..LOL...Still Good choice?
