dear all

I am contemplating whether I should take up P1 and P3 together for Dec 14 as I am currently having a full time job.

Further, ACCA has released news that they will be revising syllabus for these papers.

Hence, I would like advice from those who had taken these papers on whether taking these two modules are manageable.

Thanks lots! :)

P1 and P3 quite similar, P paper can take 2 at a time. Quite manageable. :s12:

For these 2 papers, do ya think we can opt one for self study one take class? If yes, which paper can we opt for self study then?

F8 and P1 are more closely related than P3. I think P1 and P3 is like probably 30~40% related? If you prefer to self study on either of them, maybe you can consider doing it for P1 since you would have some knowledge from your lower F8. :s12:

p1 and p3 is really alright. I took p1, p3, obu + full time job at the same time and I feel there wasn't much pressure. just try to start ur revision early and you will be fine. p1 and p3 is fully application based so dont expect the exam to be "tell me what is x". it will be a full case study for you to analyze.

Find that at Kaplan is easier to access the soft copies of the lessons through website whereelse at FTMS the soft copies of the lessons are saved into DropBox, every now & then has to request the admin staff to send to me. Also find the admin staff there not so helpful at times.:(

Attend the class and take note/copy better. Can write down pointers that are not in the lecturer's softcopy. :s12:
