The flexibility of acca programme is that the papers can be taken at any centres. So its possible :) but there may be many exam centres for a single state, so u may wish to take note of this

Hey, good news bros!!! you will be keen to know that bpp@m2 just released a series of FREE  exam"top-tips" videos. there's P2 revision recordings, exactly what you need, amongst some other papers. i'd say this school has been the most generous amongst all the others, almost like giving out free lessons.
http://acca.m2-academy.edu.sg/toptips :s12:

Thanks a lot for the information.

Hi, I have a question to ask.

I have no background in ACCA and intend to self study for F1 & F2. I am working full time and will be studying part time. Is lecture essential for someone like me who is new in the accounting?

Hi,

Yup agree, I think it very much depends on individual. Self-discipline is very important.

I also plan to finish my ACCA all by self study, not sure if it is feasible though. So far finished 4 papers, still manageable.

IMHO, i think if you are no planning to go for the full acca, then go for FIA instead. FAB FFA and FMA and get yourself an acca diploma. as for self-study vs tuition, i would suggest the latter, and especially so for a non-finance/acc student.

ah...the infamous debate about SQP vs the world again.

Seriousy, ca singapore is never gonna fly so soon, at least not until the first few batches of graduates make it out, and we are talking about 2018 and beyond. IT is not that SAC dont wanna accredite the other qualifications, it is the other way round. Who dares to take a bet and accredite something that doesnt even have any track record??? that is why all that SAC can do is just sign MOU with them.
Trust me, by then SAC will be going around offering accreditations to other associations in hopes to receive the same. it is almost definite!

the question is only...when and how many papers. till then, why worry? just get one first.

Unless you are set on being a civil servant for life, it doesnt really matter if your prof qualification is acca, cpa aus or iceaw...etc

3 months close to 4 after receiving the result. Need some advice, No offer for any audit firm. Does that means there is no chance on joining an audit firm? I am 27yo this year already, will age be a factor? Dont really want to miss the chance of the ICPAS plus route to obtain CA if can clock my 3 years experience by 2018.
