I got this netbook at harvey norman at comex. Can go for the installment plan with 1 month wavied. So it will cost $766. It comes with a optical mouse FOC. If you are using UOB card, you can get acer wireless mouse and free coffee too.
At the same time, acer are giving free speaker for notebook and desktop purchase. Lastly, don't forget to go for lucky draw.

You can't without voiding the warranty. Furthermore, the AO only supports up to 1.5GB, meaning you can only remove the existing 512MB stick (the other 512MB is onboard), and add in a 1GB stick in replacement.

1.5GB compared to 1GB not much difference, not worth the hassle and the voiding of the warranty.

depend on what you expect. for me this lappy is good. last night just tried and tested (borrow from office). the only problem is need to get use with the keyboard, coz smaller then normal keyboard on laptop

not advisable with the specs , i called acer the other day , they said that upgrading of ram is not available , so you should stick to xp

but correct me if im wrong , you upgrade to vista from xp , you need to purchase vista license not free and if you want go back again , it's best you reformat it , so all documents are basically gone , be happy with it , stick to xp 1gb is the minimum requirement for installation of vista on desktop i guess , so dont expect 1gb to run very well on vista , most probably will lag badly or slow
