the led light for the batt (above F1 key) will indicate wheather is it on charging or finish charging using two diff colors. forget what colors but should be red for charging and green for completed.

for extra info, switch on the wifi will need you to wait for awhile before the device start to scan for signal. i didn't know at the first place and keep on switch on and off the wifi (the switch will triggle back to initial position after pushing, no matter ON or OFF) untill then i finally realise the system need some time to boot up the wifi.

you can see the led light blinking once you switch on the wifi. wat you can do next is to wait for the signal icon show in the taskbar.

ya, just receive my letter today and happily open it and found my collection date is from 15 oct - 31 oct! thats the last collection batch of that week liao. damn sad

Sign up at comex and activated on 10 sept and now I have to wait for another 1 more month! damn sad.

Tot maybe i can call up and ask if can collect earlier but when look at the T & C, it stated with bolded text in the first paragragh that the earliest collection date will be 15 oct! DAMN SAD!

well, i collected mine on 17th September..
previously i ever tried using Dell, HP, Compaq and Fujitsu Laptops...

but i am impressed with Acer Aspire One.. Acer did a great job this time round...

It works flawlessly on wireless, i say, the keyboard is great,.. i did not fumble on any keys since the first time i use it...

the 1 GB ram is sufficient to run my powerpoint files... internet explorer, mozilla firefox and some simple games.. well, this is not a gaming laptop .. but ease of portability... i give it 2 thumbs up !!

the 6-Cell battery can run for 5 hours straight ... i have tried yesterday from 7pm to 12am and i am surprised there is still 50 mins of juice left.... i was using wireless and editing some docs ... and... i played Quake too.... just to test it out....

Warcraft works fine,,, no lags... so, i definitely and proudly gonna stick to this lappy for quite a while !!
Just my 2 cents !!

Anyway, have any of you guys tried other good games on this lappy ???

the first day i received the aspire one, i just straight away using it without charging since its batt indication show 100% charge. from 6p.m i reached home and start using it, it last until 1020p.m with about 20 mins batt left. in between i tried playing youtube, listen to music and play emulator game like marvel vs capcom, striker 1945 and pocket fighters.

all work fine except when you suf some web that contain alot of flash adv and pop up window, the aspire one will lag for awhile. i believe other laptop with 1g ram only will have the same problem.
