The battery can only power up my netbook for about 2.7hrs even after full charge. And I turn off the wifi still same. This model sibey 'eat electricity'.

Your battery is 3 cell or 6 cell? 6 cell last 2.7hrs... cannot be.
I did check reviews. It do last 4 to 5 hours..

According to the booklet and the info on the battery pack, I believe my set is a 6 cell battery.

I just received my bundle today. I am using to surf the net now.
It is around 4.5hours with wireless on. Maybe u should try to adjust your lighting.
I search the net, i discover there is another 5600mah 6 cell battery.
Don't know how much that cost but it will squeeze another 1 hour...

i saw it at carrefour today. It is going at $599. But it is 1gb.

It is around 4.5hours with wireless on. Maybe u should try to adjust your lighting.
I search the net, i discover there is another 5600mah 6 cell battery.
Don't know how much that cost but it will squeeze another 1 hour...

I dim the lighting, turn off wifi and battery can last slightly longer about 3 hrs only.

easiest way to tell is just check the size of the battery, if it fits nicely into the netbook, with hardly anything protruding out, it means its 3 cell, if got a big bulge that comes out from the back, its 6 cell.

Just recontract Singnet to get the AO531h soon also. Wonder any lobang on upgrade the RAM to 2Gb and 6 cells batteries?

The official upgrades are really expensive, compare to the netbook itself.

I upgraded mine to 2Gb at Best Bargain, Sim Lim Square at $37

The vast majority of Acer netbooks in the market do not come with 3G capability built in.
