is this the correct ram for AOD250~?

Hmm... new packaging? I think I have two of these 2GB DDR2 same model number stashed away in my cupboard, but the packaging is the usual long one that can fit desktop ram.

Btw, is the price tag $45 the current price?

try already can use, but no speed increase as ppl in other thread mention, changing from 1gb to 2gb ram~

wonder will it void warranty for breaking the seal to change ram~

For AOA150 confirmed will break warranty, coz it requires total disassembly just to reach the ram...

yah, sgd45 just bought on tuesday.

For me i don't see any speed increase, not at all.

My main use is for Firefox + youtube + window media player.

AD250 just need a screw to open a small cover for ram behind.

So hmm, does this mean u have one piece of 1gb ddr2 ram unused? Thinking of getting a cheap 1gb ddr2 to upgrade my AOA150 to 1.5gb. Wonder if it is worth the hassle of disassembling the whole thing again (upgraded hdd to 500gb just a few days ago)...

yes i do have 1 piece of 1gb unused now.

But is of unbranded ram. i guess you go SLS can buy kingston 1gb at sgd20+ with lifetime warranty better.

does you mainboard or bios able to use 500gb HDD~? i thought netbook bios can support only up to 320gb hdd~?

Yeap, it's working great with the scorpio blue 500gb ripped out from a WD Elements bought at $115.90 during the recent comex...

Anyway, I bought D250 today from Harvey Norman.

$638 for the following
- upgrade to 1 pc 2GB RAM (I get to keep the default 1GB RAM)
- Extended 2nd and 3rd year warranty by HN.

Paid about $100 more than Comex price, in exchange for the 3 yrs warranty.

erm guys , how do i reinstall winxp for these netbooks ?

my fren got one recently and been trying to remove this "tag along" anit virus , total something. even uninstalling this software needs activation .... plus he kanna some virus also ...

so was thinking of a complete reboot of the hdd ...

but i read that this broadcom video accelerator doesnt work like a graphic card to boost video, it only worked when using some particular application.( eg Totalmedia player or something)


anyone successful installed and used on their 751 while watchin classic media player or rmvb file ?

Don't think you'll need such a device to play back YouTube HD streams smoothly. Your Atom is fast enough. More probably is that your connection is limiting smooth playback.

Touchscreen on D250

Hi Everyone, anyone has experience with installing a TouchScreen on D250 here? Kindly offer me some help here. I've already bought a D250 with touchscreen installed. But i have no idea what happened, when i accidentally uninstalled my graphics driver, my touchscreen doesn't work anymore, even after i reinstalled my graphics driver.. it kept saying "USB Device Not Recognized" for a while, and now it doesn't even say that anymore... Does any of the pals here know what to do? Kindly help please...

I don't see any lag in D250, play very smoothly.

D250 is 1.6GHz...... when i stream videos in xun lei also jerks despite good connection.
