i have 2 units so far no split screen issue. how old is ur unit and when is the made?

mine its like the first batch...btw how to see the manufacturing date?

the acer guy just came and update the monitor firmware due to split screen. anyone have any recurring issue after update?

i thought they gonna change new monitor for me

I'd have headache too. Some games are being stretched right? And most movies will have left and right black bars?

Not sure leh. My brother can't play for more than an hour at 3440x1440. But for me, I played for 3 hours and faced no issues.

He speculates it might be his spectacles combined with the screen curvature.

For games that stretch (like Diablo3), set to Windows Fullscreen from within the game and it won't stretch.

any backlight bleed at the corners on your x34a monitor? especially in dark scenes is it noticeable?

Have but still ok to me. Seems like a common thing.

after he upgrade the firmware, keep getting no signal with dp port...and computer freeze..

not sure is this issue...or gpu gonna fried

The monitor stand didn't interfere with the placement. Actually the stand serves as a guide as to how far the keyboard and mouse should be so you get at least the minimum distance from your eyeballs.

4.95 is not the latest firmware but it should fix the split screen issue.
