i am using this monitor to watch mediacorp programmes by connecting it to New Media Solutions tv box using HDMI at resolution 1080i at 50Hz. The audio sound come out from the monitor itself is too soft even at 100 Level

Anyone experiencing flickering when using? The whole screen will just flicker and flicker.

change to a better cable.

Using Ugreen display port cable 1.2 on my Prism x340 no problem. Can get from Lazada.

Download Monitor Drivers from Acer website and install it via device manager

Use the Win8 drivers? Doing that myself and aside making it look nice in device manager I don't see any practical reason for this...

It will work for windows 10 as well. The "drivers" are the same for monitors...From Vista to Windows 10.

Usually comes in 2 files, .icm and .inf or with .cat for security telling windows that the files are legit to the installer. ICM is to tell windows OS the color profiles and INF(Basically a text file which you can open and look at the content) is to tell windows OS the monitor name and specifications.

You can even right click the icm or inf to install them manually...

Strange I still can use my old drivers on windows 10. You sure you have the correct files. INF, ICM.

Acer just replaced my X34a with an X34p. Damn happy.

Problem on X34a was vertical green lines.

Should be.... Heng I order it 2017 Jan.... So still got chance save...going to call them tml.

But wonder y.... Yesterday nite still alright and then today when I try to turn it on it can't be turn on... Damn sian

I also same issue, but mine out of warranty already. Did you check your 3 pin plug fuse first?

Ok so manage to call the service centre n I would like to think its worst than singtel..... seriously mine is the first call for the cso.... He like not yet wake up sia.... N seem to on the mute alot of times talking to his fren. Becos all those things I said I have to repeat a few time with him making me wait for a while
