yea, before i bought this monitor, i have to find hdmi to mini hdmi...finding the cable is a real challenge..

end up buying it from qoo10.

now that i get this monitor, same issue, have to pay additional for dp to mini dp..

since i want to really test out gsync gaming (never try b4 and all the +ve comments)..decided to go SLS and get it..

too bad, didnt know SLS sell cable 80% defective..

now i cant get to play with gsync till next year (have to travel overseas from 25th to 4th).

frustrated...give up...decided to buy from curve cable for high quality dp to mini dp...

popi2 no more problem after this (except replacement of the monitor due to BLB and dead pixel..:(:(:(:(

a bad year end:(:(

Anyone knows what is the OD mode on the panel? Options are OFF, Normal and Extreme.

Manual didn't address this.

if i unplug the hdmi..it will show no signal. only upon entering the window, change input and it is detected

I got the same issue with my LG 34 inch, can only enter bios mode in HDMI cannot see bios if in DP mode, is it really cable issue or gfx card issue or monitor issue? After entering Windows, DP works perfectly but never able to get into bios in DP mode.

I think overdrive is not to overclock to 165Hz, but it is to adjust the pixel response time. Alot of places recommend to leave it at normal.

OD is the overdrive that overclocks the monitor to 165Hz.
To have a better pixel response time, press the button on the extreme left of the monitor to enable 'Game Mode'.

In my experience, the OD mode shifts the screen downwards and causes the bottom part of the Windows 10 taskbar to appear at the top of the screen. Anyone else who has OD enabled can confirm this?

My apologies. I meant Overclock is meant to make it go to 165Hz. So yours doesn't have the same problem as mine when you have Overclock on?
Edit: Seems after enabling Overclock, the problem I mentioned previously is now gone.

Btw, for OD, I recommend to set it at 'Normal'. OD is something like motion blur. You can experiment this by moving your mouse slowly and watch its back for a trail of ghosting. With it set to 'Extreme' or 'Off' you'll be able to see a visible shadow ghosting for off and halo ghosting for Extreme. 'Normal' seems to be the more well-balanced settings. :s12:
Use this test to help you decide the best settings for yourself if you want. :)

Btw, for OD, I recommend to set it at 'Normal'. OD is something like motion blur. You can experiment this by moving your mouse slowly and watch its back for a trail of double image/halo. With it set to 'Extreme' or 'Off' you'll be able to see a visible shadow for off and strong halo for Extreme. 'Normal' seems to be the more well-balanced settings. :s12:

Yeah that makes more sense. No, I dun have the problem that you see. Have you updated to latest Nvidia Drivers?
