Thanks. I managed to find the driver. Wanted to make sure the colour profile is installed correctly with the driver.

Is my Geforce Control Panel showing the correct output colour format?
- RGB-->Full or Limited
or should it be showing
- sRGB -> Full

Can you re-host the driver for us? :)

Does anyone know how to check what ICC profile you are using (loaded) currently in Windows? I know it is under Colour Management in Control Panel but it is pretty confusing inside there.

For me, all I did was change the Colour Temp to
User
R Gain - 90
G Gain - 90
B Gain - 100

Then increase Saturate to 110.

and finally my profile looks as white as I generally like it to be. :)

What do you guys think about my colour profile for your XB271HU or do you guys have a better colour profile that is whiter and less yellowish?

just an updates. the acer service came down have a look at the monitor...

apparently the change is slim to do replacement since there is only 1 dead red pixel in the middle of the screen..(warranty stated needed 3) :(:(

as for the black light bleeding..the chance is slim too...as its a "standard" issue for IPS screen..:(:(

the guy is nice though..explaining to me and will put up his report..but the chance is super slim...

thats it..pay for defective monitor :(:(:(

bro, if really cannot change.. there ways to rectify the stuck pixel accordingly to the internet. they say can try pressing surface on the stuck pixel. linus also did recommend it in one of his video but dont know how effective is it.

If really cannot settle and it's an eyesore to u then just sell it away - get another replacement or a different monitor. Though u will lose money lah...

with a dead pixel there, dont think anyone would want to pay more than 700 for that monitor.

its really prominent. its just that the policy needed 3...
