This one I think is depends on the water supply of the block. Some water are from water tank on roof top and top floors will have low pressure...some blocks get water from water pump from the pump room...no water pressure issue for top levels.

My house top floor. Ceiling not hot (maybe because have solar panel)

Ceiling no leak , very windy , wait for lift not an issue , unblocked view .

issues I occasionally faced are lizards and teenagers at staircase smoking or do hanky panky stuff.

Given a choice again I will choose top floor, the higher ceiling height is good

Yes lots of lizards .....one best thing is.....no piping on ceiling

i mean if they can access the rooftop to get to the water tank, they can die outside the water tank too.

i think top floor may be hot because the ceiling is expose to direct sun heat.

nowadays with the installation of solar panels, heat may be reduced?

Outside is of course algae.

The bird sh/t is always on the corridor, I need to bleach and scrub the sai off with plenty of water.

Talking about that I just noticed a pigeon nesting outside my unit.

Is not drinking from the tank. Is ppl above you up lorry then corpse waster drop down your ceiling. Top floor nobody is staying so nobody will up lorry above u.

My hdb flat is on the top floor. Have to monitor rooftop water tank for leakage to my unit from the kitchen and bedroom ceiling.

i saw some the ceiling is not directly the floor of the roof....there is another structure so heat may not be an issue

Probably for the flats that are under 30 years old and the newer flat. My flat is 38 years old, completed HIP in August 2022.

Best is stay ground floor. Not even middle

Agree, but not near the common garbage chute. When fogging, cockroaches may enter your chute if you did not seal/tape it.

I'm disappointed that my top floor unit don't have higher ceiling

only the toilets don't have waste water pipe.
